Works to the Welwyn Garden City campus at this FE College included the design and installation of
multiple mechanical and electrical services to both the Learning Resource and Engineering
Resource areas of the college.
High efficiency lighting and associated power requirements, photovoltaics, access control and
modifications to the existing fire alarm system formed part of the scope of works.
The buildings also benefit from a new air handling unit and heat recovery ventilation system. A
Daikin VRF for heating and cooling, and Trend BMS also featured.
This project achieved BREEAM excellent.
