As one of the leading preferred contractors working both land and airside at this busy
international airport for over 20 years, fulfilling numerous contracts with the requirement of
mechanical and electrical services. Scopes of work involved predominately special works and
involvement in the major expansion of the airport, including an array of works from the
electrical power upgrades including sub stations, power distribution boards to lighting upgrades
throughout the entire airport.
Throughout the years projects have included enabling works for temporary drop off zones, new
terminals and the installation of the PAVA systems throughout specific areas of the airport. We
also undertook the installation of new external car park facilities together with associated
column lighting, sub mains and feeder pillars as well as works to the airport’s new police
station with armoury room. This project included installation of air conditioning, electrical
fit-out, construction of new walls, partitions and ceilings along with external
groundworks.
In recent years works have involved installation of low energy consumption, energy efficient LED
lighting and the installation of power supply in conjunction with wayfinding signs throughout
the airport and with minimal disruption to the airport and travellers. Installation of power
systems to the FID, Flight Information Display Screens through the airport. General electrical
testing, involvement in the new DART Project, Direct Air Rail Terminal which included enabling
works, relocating and installation of various power supplies. The streetlight upgrade to LED
lighting to streetlights in surrounding streets in connection to the London Luton Airport.
Relocation of search lanes working in co-ordination with other contractors.
We have also been responsible for in-house mechanical installation works to include plumbing,
heating, installation of boilers, air conditioning, ductwork and ventilation.
