Mimram's History

Our history and heritage is something we are immensely proud of.

We acknowledge that our past is not without imperfection and has been instrumental in building our business to what it is today, growing through the experiences and looking back upon many years that have provided a wealth of knowledge.

We are a family owned and managed business, founded by Patrick O’Neill in 1993. The company is now in its second generation of family control and like many families we continue to grow and evolve. We are a cultural based business in which our people are part of the greater family and each new member is as important to us as our founding member.

In 1993 our roots became firmly embedded within the Industrial electrical contracting business under the stewardship of Patrick O’Neill however, with the inevitable down turn in industry Patrick knew change was required. He invited Gary O’Neill to the board of directors in 2009 to bring forward another dynamic to the already successful company with a brief of finding new opportunity outside of the native Industrial sector. It was then the Commercial contracting arm of the business was born. The business quickly doubled in size under the diversification and continued to enjoy many years of successful trading.

During 2012, the business furthered to become a bonafide dual services business and as an M&E business came the metamorphosis that provided yet further growth through very difficult trading times.

Today we offer even more across many sectors with the addition of our air conditioning and ventilation offering to our mechanical business along with more specialised electrical sectors such as home automation, access control and IRS system design and installation. We will as a business and family continue to evolve, reforming where we see synergy with our core activities that offer benefit to our clients.

We have and always will be about our people, they are the single most essential ingredient to our past, present and future success. It is to them, we, our clients and supply chain owe everything.
