Fairland’s Primary School, Hertfordshire

Contracted to design, supply and install a variety of electrical and mechanical systems to two new blocks comprising of classrooms, group areas, toilet block and standalone plant room, at this large three form entry primary school.

Electrical works included modification of existing building’s main incoming electrical supply, allowing for a new four way panel designed to feed both new buildings and new sub main power cable. Also featuring classroom lighting controlled presence detection and daylight switching, radio fire alarm system installed to existing buildings, CCTV access control and intruder alarm system.

New Photovoltaic system providing renewable energy; BMS control wiring for managing HVAC systems; new gas and cold water mains and independent plant room with gas fired boilers to new buildings; above ground drainage to toilet and classroom areas and HVAC plant formed part of the scheme.
